How to import native CAD models

Postby feng8180 » Mon Oct 24, 2011 11:19 am

Hello, everyone,

I am a freshman for the asgart development. Last few days, I have just tried the tutorials from the documentation of osgart. At the very beginning, I tried the
osgART::testCube() function for a simple test. But now, I want to import some complex models generated by Pro/E or SolidWorks. I find the import function osgDB::readNodeFile(), but unfortunately it seems that I can only import .osg files.

Could you please tell me how to convert the format from the native CAD format to the openscenegraph format?
Thank you!

well, .stp or .igs will be OK. I can't convert the stp or igs files to the .osg file. Could anyone help me?
