Re: 2D Position of marker

In my answer, "input" is a 3d point that you want to project onto the 2d screen. If it is the centre of your marker then x, y and z will all be zero. It may be different on Android, but to convert an array of floats (i.e. your projectionMatrix and modelViewMatrix) into Matrix4: OpenTK.Matr...

Re: 2D Position of marker

I'm not using Android, but presumably it's similar to iOS. I'm using Vector4 and Matrix4 from OpenTK. I convert the projectionMatrix and modelViewMatrix to OpenTK.Matrix4 and then do this: Vector4 vec; vec.X = (float)input.x; vec.Y = (float)input.y; vec.Z = (float)input.z; vec.W = 1.0f; Vector4.Tran...

Re: Open VRML in artoolkit v5

I managed to build it using VS2015, so 2017 should be similar. I followed these instructions: http://forum.openscenegraph.org/viewtopic.php?t=14278&view=previous I didn't need to do everything. The main thing was to build the boost libraries by running the bootstrap.bat file and then b2.exe Updg...

Re: Generating 4x4 Matrix Codes

Look in the "ARToolKit for Desktop v5.x forum". There was a similar question there, so I uploaded my code in VBA format.

Here is a VBA macro I used to generate my images. Paste it into a module in Excel. Option Explicit Option Compare Text Private Type typHEADER strType As String * 2 ' Signature of file = "BM" lngSize As Long ' File size intRes1 As Integer ' reserved = 0 intRes2 As Integer ' reserved = 0 lng...

Re: Generating 4x4 Matrix Codes

What format do you need them in?
I have generated 1000 of them for my project.

EDIT - I just noticed - jpg.
I think mine are png. I'll dig them out tomorrow.

Re: Camera calibration with OpenCV3.2

My C++ skills weren't up to getting ARToolkit working with the OpenCV3.2 calibration.exe example. Well actually, it was more to do with my ignorance of the structure of the camera matirx - I wasn't sure if the camera matrix as returned by OpenCV3.2 is the same as the intrinsic matrix expected by ART...

Camera calibration with OpenCV3.2

Hi, I have been trying to calibrate a high resolution camera. I can calibrate it no problem with OpenCV 2.14.13.2 However, it takes a very long time - a minute or more to process a single image. I want to use over 40 images to get a good calibration. I switched to using OpenCV3.2. This processes the...

Re: Processing Single Image in C#

Thanks - I got this working.
Didn't bother with a C# wrapper for OpenCV - I just edited the ArWrapper to call OpenCV directly from within C++

Processing Single Image in C#

The ARWrapper library only seems to provide support for processing video.
I presume I would have to write a similar wrapper myself to allow image processing to be accessed via C#
Does anyone have a link to a resource where someone has already done such a thing?
Thanks!
