Re: Marker axis

Yes, that makes much more sense. In fact, yesterday I also tried to use that column, but without luck. Then I gave up until I have seen your new reply. Yes, the pivot point has to be the last column. When I was saying that I was using the same value it was because I was sure that the last column was...

Re: Marker axis

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm still having problems to make it work as desired. Maybe the snippets you are planning to add could be the solution. Anyway, what I am using is that axis you comment as the axis for the rotation, but the result is not as desired. rotationVec = osg::Vec3(trans[0...

Marker axis

Hi, how is it possible to get the 3D coordinates of the marker axis from the pose matrix given by ARToolKit? The main idea is to create an animation using osg::AnimationPathCallback that rotates one model using the Z axis of the marker. I guess that I need to calculate the coordinates of that axis i...

ARToolKit4Android-release4-2012-03-09

Hi,

thank you for the alert about the new version. Does this version have some integration with OSG?

Greetings.

Re: Log messages

Hi, thank you for your reply. I received the solution from Julian and I forgot to post it here: #include <android/log.h> // Logging macros #define LOG_TAG "MyAppName" #define LOGI(...) __android_log_print(ANDROID_LOG_INFO,LOG_TAG,__VA_ARGS__) #define LOGE(...) __android_log_print(ANDROID_L...

Threshold detection

Hello,

I am wondering if there is any threshold that can be changed when detecting an image. Is it possible to change the number/percentage of featured points needed to detect an image?

Thank you.

Log messages

Hi, I am using the ARToolKitWrapper and I have seen that several functions are available to use (like arwAddMarker and so), but I can't find any function to put some messages into the log. Is there any function available for that? I mean putting messages from c++ code, not the Android log. The same ...

error LNK2001

Hi, I have a strange problem. When building my own application in debug mode, everything works fine. But, when switching to release mode, I find one error: tracking.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _ar2Tracking I have checked that if I change AR2.lib to AR2d.lib, it works in release m...

Re: exampleNFT4

OK, maybe I am wrong, but it seems that the format of the file is something like this: PAGE_NUM 1 PAGE_NO 0 TEXTURE Data/pinball/pinball.dat Saving this text as tracking.conf makes the demo work. I imagine that, of course, you can add more textures to the file, I have not tried yet. Just in case any...

exampleNFT4

Hi,

I want to try the exampleNFT4 demo, but the exe is not able to find the tracking.conf file (me neither). Is this file missing from the package? Should I create it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: List of devices

Not at present. The only way I can see to do it currently is to actually modify videoWinDS.cpp to return the info in a string, and recompile libARvideo. Yes, it seems the only way for me too. I just wanted to avoid recompiling again libARvideo. It is possible to get the device list using the System...

List of devices

Hi,

I can get the list of devices (cameras) printed on the command window using the arVideoOpen("-showDeviceList"); function. Is it possible to get that list in a string or in any other variable, so I can handle it later?

Thank you.

Re: howto setting resolution without show dialog box

Hi, I am facing the same problem. I have read the documentation: http://www.artoolworks.com/support/library/Configuring_video_capture_in_ARToolKit_Professional#AR_VIDEO_DEVICE_WINDOWS_DIRECTSHOW and it seems like it is not possible to select the resolution programmatically in windows. Am I missing s...

Yes, in fact, I found the solution thanks to the output of that function you mention. Very useful.

Best regards.

Re: Problem with IplImage and ARUint8

OK, I figured it out! The problem was that I thought that I was getting a 4 channel image from ARToolKit, but it was a 3 channel (BGR) image.

So as easy as defining the opencv image as 3 channel image...

IplImage* imgTest = cvCreateImage(cvSize(xsize, ysize), IPL_DEPTH_8U, 3);
